Persicaria affinis flowering

All Andrew's Plants has moved to AllAndrewsPlants.wordpress.com

You can find this post here on my new site for the full post and to leave comments.

I've had my Persicaria affinis (Dwarf fleeceflower) for a few years now and it has to be one of the most carefree plants I have. Needs next to no work to keep it looking tidy and while it can spread it is so easy to control I've kept my clump about a foot wide for 5 or so years with no problems. I grow this fairly dry but being a Persicaria I'm sure it wouldn't mind a little bit of extra water either.

It will now flower pretty well throughout the rest of the summer.

Happy Victoria Day long weekend!
